As Jesus said he would, Peter denies his association with Christ three times in this familiar passage from John 18. The Bible simply tells us that it happened; it doesn’t tell us the lesson we are to draw from it.  Was Peter weak, feckless, and unworthy of the high position to which Jesus appointed him?  Or was Peter a good man who made a terrible mistake in the heat of the moment? Let’s walk through the passage and draw some conclusions.
